The Energy and Climate Initiative (EEC) is a measure of the Energy Strategy 2050. It is aimed at important Swiss providers of publicly relevant services and institutional investors who want to act in an innovative and exemplary manner in the field of energy and climate.

EEC participants continue to expand renewable energies
The Energy and climate report 2024 is available. In the reporting year, the participants increased the share of renewable energies in their total energy consumption from 65% to 69%. By doing so, they are making an important contribution to the energy transition in Switzerland.

Instead of air conditioning: Swisscom shows how large buildings can be cooled with almost no energy consumption.
