Energy and climate
PostFinance aims to be completely climate neutral internally by 2030 and to achieve net zero across all activities by 2040. This requires the bank to reduce both its own direct emissions and indirect emissions. PostFinance is reducing its CO2 emissions by, among other things, powering its data centres entirely with electricity from renewable sources. In terms of indirect emissions, financed emissions play a particularly important role due to the bank's activities on the global capital market.
